I used to work on a super fun project where I learned about an aquarium ecosystem, back when the main game was in development. I will say it was a great exposure and I learned so many fascinating stuff! As part of this project, I would like to tell you everything backwards so that you can learn something yourself and maybe even develop your own aquarium project.
Everyone must have seen an aquarium that contains fishes of different colors, colorful plants and many things inside it. That is what we refer to as an aquarium ecosystem! An ecosystem is a unique combination of living things that depend on each other to survive and thrive. Our aquarium - living things (fish, plant) non-living things (water, rocks and air. These components work together to help foster a lovely, harmonious setting.
The first thing on our list for preparing the aquarium was actually what to place into it. After some consideration we selected a few gorgeous fish, bright plants and little rocks to make it look pretty. We also had to put in other things so that the water was safe and would feel well for the fish as well as that plants could live in it.
We put in a pump and filter to keep the water clean, and we had added a heater so that when it grew colder outside, their tank would still be warm. Also, we add some special chemicals to help the water remain fresh for fish and plants. Every move was made so delicate that our perfect little ecosystem in the aquarium could flourish and keep all livings things inside it happy.

While our aquarium eco-system started to flourish, we saw how everything was interrelated and interconnected. The plants provided oxygen which was used by the fish to breathe, and then in turn, they ate like essentials. On top of that, rocks and gravel at the bottom provided a safe haven for healthy bacteria which aids in breaking down fish waste making it suitable stay clean.

People could also see how the various species of fish and plant interaction. They also had some fish loved to be more towards the top of the water, while others preferred to hide in between plants for their safety. Sometimes it grew tall and gave shade for the fish, other times they floated on water perfect as egg laying. This made our ecosystem in the aquarium alive and dynamic!

Our greatest experience was our aquarium project, we have learned many interesting things there. We learned about how living things and nonliving work in harmony to keep an ecosystem happy and healthy. We learned, too how to protect our ecosystem and support its health, wellbeing & success.
