How to Ensure the Safety of Acrylic Pools
The reason acrylic pools are widely used in high-end hotels, villas, and rooftop pool projects lies in their outstanding safety performance. Compared with traditional glass, acrylic has a much stronger impact resistance—approximately 30 times that of ordinary glass. Even when subjected to external force, it is not easily broken. In the rare event of extreme impact, acrylic does not shatter into sharp fragments like glass but instead maintains its structural toughness, greatly enhancing safety.

In engineering design, every acrylic pool undergoes rigorous stress analysis. The thickness of the acrylic panels and the supporting structure are precisely calculated based on the pool’s size and water depth. For large pools, the acrylic panels can be several dozen centimeters thick, effectively dispersing water pressure. In addition, the joints between the panels and steel structures are sealed using specialized waterproofing techniques to prevent leakage and ensure overall structural integrity.
