The moment I walked into Shanghai Lanhu I was greeted by these tanks filled with the most colorful swimmers. It was amazing the number of random fish I saw, from small clownfish and everything up to massive turtle. It was mesmerizing, the colors of the coral and seaweed looked like an underwater version of a brightly-colored rainbow. There was even a seahorse spinning around in the water near me. Like this was so magical seeing all these amazing creatures up close.
Shanghai Lanhu underwater tunnel aquarium feels like a full ocean movie. It could have been the sound of water surrounding me, or the feel of fish gently swaying into as swim in and out of my vision. That was an area I could have remained for hours, just watching the creatures live there day to day. It really did feel like I was under the water too.
